Blanks cut.
Bent to shape.
Drilled and shaped.
The composite landing gear that comes with the kit is prone to delaminating. Mine broke with my second landing. I initially crafted a new set using 1/4" 6061-T6511 aluminum. It worked, but was heavier than what I expected and stronger than required. I crafted a new set using 3/16" 6061-T6511 aluminum. The stock glass/polyester gear weighed 334 grams and these weighed 396 grams. The difference is less than a standard metal geared servo. Cost of material, delivered to my door, is less than $13.
